SMS Terms of Service

1. Program Description
ApplyHOA ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") offers SMS messaging services to help homeowner associations (HOAs) and condominium associations communicate with their community members. By opting in to our SMS program, you consent to receive text messages from ApplyHOA and/or your community association regarding:
- Account verification and security alerts
- Community announcements and important notices
- Meeting reminders and schedule updates
- Application status updates
- Emergency notifications from your community
- Service updates and maintenance alerts
2. Consent and Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box during registration or account setup, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from ApplyHOA at the phone number provided. Your consent is not a condition of purchase or use of any ApplyHOA services beyond SMS notifications.
You confirm that you are the account holder for the mobile phone number provided or have authorization from the account holder to receive SMS messages.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your community's activity and your account settings. You may receive up to 10 messages per month depending on community announcements, account activity, and notification preferences. During emergencies or time-sensitive situations, message frequency may temporarily increase.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier may apply to messages you send and receive. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan. ApplyHOA is not responsible for any charges incurred from your wireless carrier.
5. How to Opt-Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation message.
- Updating your notification preferences in your ApplyHOA account settings.

After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from ApplyHOA unless you opt back in. Opting out of SMS does not affect other communication methods (email, in-app notifications).

7. Supported Carriers

Your privacy is important to us. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or any information collected through our SMS program with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your information will be used solely to provide the services you have requested.
